John Hartman

John Hartman is the original drummer of the Doobie Brothers, co-founding the band with Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons in San Jose, California in 1970. His driving double-drummer setup (alongside Michael Hossack) helped define the early Doobie Brothers sound. Hartman left the band in 1979 and rejoined for various reunion periods.
